A new paper on Hungarosaurus is out, which offers additional description of new material, reconstructions of the entire skeleton and the dermal armor, body mass estimations as well as an updated phylogenetic analysis for which the topology is not any different from Osi (2005) or my ankylosaur composite matrix.
See: Osi, A. and Makadi, L. 2009. New remains of Hungarosaurus tormai (Ankylosauria, Dinosauria) from the Upper Cretaceous of Hungary: skeletal reconstruction and body mass estimation. Paläont. Z., 83: 227-245.
Modified from Figure 11 in Osi and Makadi (2009) - Top, skeletal reconstruction with dermal armor in left lateral view, Bottom, dermal armor reconstruction in dorsal view
With the new material, they found that Hungarosaurus also possessed paravertebral elements as in Minmi (either ossified tendons or sesamoids according to Molnar and Frey). A lot of the new material fills in the missing gaps not present in the original described material, letting them put together a skeletal reconstruction (see above).

Very long arms.
Is this unusually long-legged, or is it just me?
